COURSE ATTENDANCE INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT

Participants are required to bring a Pen or Pencil
If you wish to complete a continuous learning course, you are required to have a current First Aid Certificate less than 2 years old. If this certificate was completed with us previously, we can verify this information. If the certificate was completed with a third party you will need to bring your certificate to the course for verification.
If an employer pays for participants training the corresponding certificate(s) will be sent to the employer.
Payment can be made by direct debit, cheque or cash, credit card
Drivers License, Birth Certificate or other form of identification required (see below).
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled course time so that registration process can be completed before the course starts.
Late attendance may be refused from the course.

UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER

IMPORTANT

Unique Student Identifier Under legislation from 1st January 2015 means that any R.T.O will be unable to issue a statement of attainment or qualification unless we have a verified USI attached to the student record.

The Unique Student Identifier (USI) provides you with a portal in which your vocational education academic outcomes are recorded. It is populated through data which and R.T.O is required to submit to our governing bodies.

Please bring this number to the course on the day.

North East training can apply for a USI on your behalf - if you choose this option,

you will need to complete the below information in your registration form on the day.

PLEASE NOTE: you will need to bring an original form of identification (see list below) to be sighted by trainer on the day.

If you choose to apply through the student portal OR North East training apply on your behalf, you will be contacted via your preferred method and asked to activate the USI you have been provided with.

Until your USI is activated North East Training will be unable to add it to your student record.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event a student cannot attend a first aid course and notice is given to Northeast Training seven (7) days prior to course commencement, the student may defer the course to a future date.

On site courses require a minimum of 72 hours notice for cancellation. Minimum class size for an onsite class is eight (8). Classes can run with less, however the client will be charged for the total eight (8) people.

We are unable to refund monies for 'no-shows' to first aid classes or change of mind within the above time periods. Changes to class times are permitted, exlcuding within 48 hours of the class commencing.
